Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Adult Day Care Center located in Mountain View, California
Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
Must have a current California RN license
Recent clinical, long-term care facility or home care experience is strongly preferred.
ADHC nursing experience and/or familiarity with Title 22 ADHC regulations is highly preferred.
Prior experience with aging services, adult day health operations, or clinical care is highly sought.

Schedule of the Registered Nurse:
This is a Full-time position
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
40 hours a week
This contract assignment will end on June 2024
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
Active member of a Multidisciplinary Team, responsible for nursing care plans and monitoring of RD, ST, and Therapy care plans to ensure all are medically appropriate for participants.
Monitor vital signs, (RR & Temp PRN), weights, and blood sugar, per the center’s protocols, or per MD’s orders, and report abnormal findings to MD and caregiver as needed.
Responsible for carrying out care plans for participants as designed by a multi-disciplinary team using individual care plans as a guide.
Monitor participants’ health status and communicate any change in condition to the primary caregiver or family and liaison with the PCP as necessary.
Responsible for administering insulin, routine, and PRN medications to participants, with appropriate documentation.
Monitors participants for medication efficacy and side effects.
Monitors medication supplies and contact caregivers for refills as needed. Monitor expiration dates.
Maintain a medication log for overnight storage, returns, and/or destruction.
Communications with Pharmacist for medications reviewer every quarter.
Administer treatments according to participant care plans which include but are not limited to glucose testing, skin & wound care, gastrostomy feeding, colostomy care, and urinary catheter.
Data entry and documentation, including daily flowsheets, medication entry into TurboTAR, and creation and maintenance of the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Update participant information, as needed.
Order and restock medical supplies, and supervise maintenance of health supplies & equipment.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Provide health education for participant and family/caregivers as needed.
Assists with setting up quiet area when needed, monitoring participant as needed, and ensures cleanliness of the room.
Carries out quality assurance tests for glucometer (control testing (monthly and PRN), oxygen, refrigerator (2x daily), room temperature (daily), AED (monthly),
Responsible for medical correspondence including new requests for history and physicals, their tracking, and assessment information and correspondence.
Maintains personal care documentation and follow-up when necessary.
Report to supervisor on matters related to center policies and procedures
