The Mixed Reality display calibration team develops and deploys software for display calibration of Mixed Reality devices. We are looking for a talented software engineer who is passionate about device display image quality and software development for display calibration.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop algorithms and production software for the Mixed Reality display calibration in order to deliver spec display image quality and user experiences
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners to deploy the display calibration for Mixed Reality device production
• Analyze device production failures from display calibration software perspective, and provide fast fixes and feedback to our team and partner teams
• Review and provide feedbacks on incoming display driver and firmware code changes with calibration focus
• Provide documentation/wiki on developed software and troubleshooting tips
• This is an in-person role, onsite in office and lab, and up to 20% of travel to production factory
Required Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision or related fields OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, strong programming skills, C++ and Matlab required, C# and Python desirable
• Experience in electronic color display, display metrology, and image processing
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, team player
• Experiences in embedded systems, AR/VR devices, light measurement instruments, camera optics, robot and stage motion control, SLAM and common communication protocols
