Edmonson Electric, a division of IES Residential, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant!
The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of billed invoices and for scanning and electronically filing documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Audits billing data for accuracy and rectifies any discrepancies.
• Generates itemized invoices and other essential billing documents, which may involve calculating discounts.
• Carries out additional duties as assigned.
Specific Qualifications:
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Problem-solving skills as issues arise.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer use with a willingness to learn new software.
• Strong time management, organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to remain focused on tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and full attentiveness.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is required.
