Sr. Technical Writer
Contract : Hybrid Austin
12+ months long- term opportunity in Austin, TX .
Rate : $55/hr.c2c
Job Duties:
This role will develop and maintain user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams.
Will understand the user's view of applications and/or technology and be able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
Also, will provide expertise on technical concepts of applications and /or user groups and structuring procedures in a logical sequence, due to a broad understanding of the applications, and write a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.
For this role, user and training guides need to be updated.
Need technical writer staff to update these resources promptly to reflect the current functionality and ensure improved customer accessibility.
This update will enhance customer satisfaction and streamline support processes.
MUST be in Texas and should be available to be hybrid in Austin . The position will be hybrid with remote possibilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
8 yrs. experience with strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
8 yrs. experience in creating clear, concise, and engaging documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, including but not limited to manuals, instructions, guides, and online help content.
8 yrs. experience working closely with technical teams to understand product details and features, ensuring accurate and relevant documentation.
8 yrs. proven record and exceptional skills in applying innovative content strategies and the latest creative techniques to simplify complex topics for better understanding.
8 yrs. experience collaborating with the design team to incorporate visual aids (diagrams, videos, animations) into documentation for enhanced clarity.
8 yrs. experience updating and maintaining existing documents to reflect product updates and changes.
8 yrs. experience conducting thorough research and interviews with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy.
8 yrs. experience utilizing content management tools and adhering to content quality standards.
8 yrs. exceptional ability to participate in user feedback sessions to improve documentation and user experience.
