Director of DMPK

RBW are currently working in close partnership with a global biopharmaceutical company that are looking for a new Director of ADME/DMPK to join their team. You will be responsible for developing the DMPK strategy across all metabolism related aspects such as in vitro ADME, bioanalysis, biotransformation and transporters.
This opportunity will also involve the chance to manage and lead a team of DMPK scientists through discovery and early development.
Responsibilities:
• Providing DMPK expertise at a strategic level on discovery and development projects
• Communicate with cross functional teams as DMPK project representative to advance projects through the drug development process
• Leading ADME related activities from discovery through to early development
• Provide managerial leadership to the ADME team
• Oversee external outsourcing strategies to meet project needs
Requirements:
• PhD in a scientific related discipline with over 10 years industry experience
• A track record of driving DMPK projects with a focus on drug disposition
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for metabolism
• Excellent communication skills to allow for collaboration with cross functional teams
• Previous management experience
• Background developing multiple modalities is a plus
