Network Engineer
Robert Half is working with a client in Austin that is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role and is contract to full-time. Details are below. THIS ROLE IS NOT OPEN TO CANDIDATES REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE
POSITION: NETWORK ENGINEER
LOCATION: AUSTIN, HYBRID 3 DAYS ONSITE
DURATION: 6 MONTH CONRACT TO PERMANENT
SALARY: 110K - 120K
Job Details
• Implementation of enterprise network, including hardware, firmware, and software migration plans
• Maintain precise network documentation
• Configure complex VLAN (tagging, trunking, routing, access control)
• Switches, routers, wireless controllers, wireless access points, UPS, PDU
• Strong WAN/LAN/wireless skills
• Working with an enterprise level environment, over 45 sites with more than 4k ports
• 5+ years experience in a Network Engineer role
• Experience working in a multi-site environment
• Datacenter technologies experience
• WAN/LAN
• hands on troubleshooting
• senior experience with Cisco routing and switching
• VLAN
• Firewall configuration and rules
• CCNA or CCNP strongly preferred
