Need Automation profile with very strong browser stack experience.

Need someone who can be on-site from Dallas or Warren, MI from day 1 (Hybrid model).

Job Description:

Report on and triage UX-related defects found in pre-production or production environments.

Validate features and fixes from our development partners.

Support developers directly to resolve UX-related defects by providing product and visual design.

Present recommendations for future design quality improvements.

Review with design system partners to ensure system compliance.

Identify and support testing needs with UAT partners.

Collaborate with product and visual designers to ensure high quality and comprehensive design deliverables.

Develop and enhance automation frameworks for comprehensive testing.

Utilize tools like BrowserStack and Selenium for effective cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

Conduct meticulous manual QA testing for native mobile applications to identify and address defects.

Integrate robust testing protocols within CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, GitHub.

Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Design and execute detailed test plans and cases for both automated and manual testing, incorporating BDD practices.

Stay abreast of the latest testing technologies and methodologies to continuously refine the testing process.

Technical/Functional Skills:

At least 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer.

Proven experience in both automated and manual software testing, with a strong background in Java.

Formal degree or training in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Computer Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

Expertise in developing automation frameworks and manual QA testing.

Proficiency with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

Familiarity with testing tools such as BrowserStack and Selenium for web and mobile app testing.

Experience with native mobile app testing.

Knowledge in integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines, with experience in Azure DevOps.

Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Skilled in various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, manual, and BDD.

Open to feedback, knows how give and receive criticism, and how and when to defend design decisions.

Proficiency with common design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or the Adobe suite (Figma preferred).

Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
