Brightwild is looking for a full time Technician to perform general maintenance tasks, daily landscaping, and weekly pool services. The technician is to support our team in creating a positive guest experience. Hours for the position will be a set schedule, with occasional after-hour calls.
Salary range will be between $20 and $25 per hour, dependent upon candidate's certifications and work experience.
Responsibilities
The technician should be able to conduct preventative and reactive maintenance, which includes but is not limited to:
Basic HVAC maintenance and filter cleaning
Inspection of the unit for maintenance needs
Testing and repairing lights, outlets, and minor caulking
Basic troubleshooting of HVAC units, breakers, drains, and thermostats, minor plumbing and electrical work, cable/WiFi troubleshooting, toilet repairs, basic appliance troubleshooting, repair and replacement of fixtures, door lock maintenance, drywall repairs, painting, and trim work, and pressure washing
Trash removal
Pressure washing and cleaning external surfaces
Coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs
Correspond with GEMS/Maintenance Coordinator about unit readiness
Other responsibilities as assigned
The technician will use the designated Property Management software application to receive work orders and communicate digitally with the company.
Maintain a schedule and bill hours
Communicate professionally and promptly with patrons, guests, clients, and owners
Enter work orders and communicate with other team members, departments, and service partners as necessary.
Assist guests with remote check-in and maintenance emergencies during evening hours and on weekends, as needed.
Know their work schedule and follow it with reliability.
Interact positively with patrons, clients, vendors, and co-workers.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming and keep a clean, neat, and orderly work area/vehicle.
Perform their job according to standard operating procedures.
Promptly report accidents, injuries, property damage, or loss to their supervisor.
Promptly report substandard (unsafe) conditions to their supervisor.
Keep communication flowing freely among all departments.
Inform management promptly of any work-related problems or guest complaints.
Maintain professional, amicable relationships with all property/marina departments, managers, and staff, as well as vendors, and community and professional contacts.
Train and supervise other employees as directed by management.
Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances as they apply to the resort/marina, guests, and employees.
Requirements

Reliable transportation and a smart device for communication
Basic home maintenance toolset required (specialty tools supplied by company)
Ability to lift over 20 lbs, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and perform basic plumbing
Woodworking skills required for framing, deck and fence repairs, and cladding
Basic computer skills and ability to manage time effectively
Customer service skills required for interactions with vacation rental guests
Schedule flexibility with occasional after hours calls required
