Assistant Project Manager - St. Louis
About Our Client
Reputable General Contractor located in St. Louis - primary focus on healthcare, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Due to a strong pipeline, they are immediately seeking the appointment of an experienced and driven construction assistant project manager to lead multiple projects across the Midwest with the Project Manager.
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will:
• Generating professional relationships that are crucial to overall success of projects and company
• Obtaining, assembling, distributing and filling all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy and lien releases.
• Preparing and Presenting all budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports
• Creating security that all projects are compliant, on-time, and within budget.
• Strategically scheduling projects in logical and timely steps in order to meet deadlines.

The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Project Manager will have:
• High Integrity mentality and good Time-Management
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
• ground-up experience
• Experience with restaurant or restoration projects
• Experience in fast food, restaurant, or cafeteria builds
• Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
• Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
• 25% travel is required
