POSITION OVERVIEW:
You will apply your analytical skills to the development and enhancement of data processes, dashboards, reports, and tools. These efforts drive the optimization and data consolidation for our internal business partners and are strategic differentiators within the business.
You will develop processes and reporting analytics in support of business growth by turning raw data into actionable business intelligence. You will communicate with external customers/partners and internal departments while effectively collaborating on complex analytics projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a team member on projects of large scope and moderate to high complexity providing data analytics and project management. Works independently and leverages resources when needed.
Analyze and develop logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements.
Develop visually appealing, detailed reports to support strategic business initiatives.
Design conceptual, logical, and physical models for the operations systems, such as ODS, data warehouse or data mart. Communicate physical database designs to database administrator.
Review and understand data requirements.
Compile and document data mapping and business rules for loading data into physical data stores and XML payloads.
Applies understanding of business processes to translate requirements into analytical reporting and evolve models to meet new and changing business requirements.
Work in partnership with team and management to generate innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential.
Accountable for delivery of data models at the project level, consults with and collaborates with key stakeholders and peers
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Associate Degree or completed relevant immersive bootcamp or certificate program.
Must be able to commute to Worcester, MA
Strong desire for a career in Data Engineering/Analytics.
Solid knowledge of SQL querying, DML/DDL.
Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
Demonstrated data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Able to work with, integrate and evaluate large and complex data sets.
Comfortable turning raw data into actionable intelligence.
Ability to summarize complex business concepts into written & oral communications using PowerPoint and other data presentation tools.
