About Our Client

Job Description
  1.  

Financial Management:

 •  Develop and maintain comprehensive financial policies and procedures.
 •  Monitor the company's financial performance, providing strategic recommendations to ensure financial goals are met.
 •  Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  2.  

Accounting and Reporting:

 •  Supervise the accounting team in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
 •  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
 •  Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
  3.  

Cash Flow Management:

 •  Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital to support the company's strategic objectives.
 •  Implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
  4.  

Audit and Compliance:

 •  Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
 •  Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  5.  

Technology Integration:

 •  Evaluate and implement financial software solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
 •  Stay informed about technological advancements to recommend and implement improvements.

The Successful Applicant
  1.  

Education and Certification:

 •  A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
 •  CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is highly desirable.

Experience:

 •  Substantial experience in financial management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
 •  Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  3.  

Leadership Skills:

 •  Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
 •  Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  4.  

Analytical Acumen:

 •  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.
  5.  

Regulatory Compliance:

 •  In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  6.  

Technology Proficiency:

 •  Proficiency in financial management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with legal industry-specific software is a plus.
