Nautique has an opening for a Bill of Materials Administrator.

The Bill of Materials Administrator's primary function is to create, modify, and manage accurate and consistent Bills of Materials (BOM) within our Epicor ERP system. The bills of materials are complex documentation of the specific parts, labor, and operations required to manufacture Nautique Boats.
The BOM Admin is a critical role to Nautique’s business plan to maintain accurate pricing, inventory accuracy, purchasing, and product fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Product Design & Development (PD&D) on new products, documenting the parts and resources required as specified by the engineering and design teams.

Track the preliminary Bill of Materials through the engineering and prototyping phase to maintain accuracy.

Document design intent and review with the PD&D teams to avoid BOM discrepancies.

Integrate the Add/Delete parts list and work closely with the PD&D sourcing team.

Communicating Bill of Materials information to key stakeholders as it is captured and before new product launches.

Maintain consistency and accuracy in describing parts and part numbers for production and documentation.

Working with the Materials and PD&D departments to develop and improve BOM templates.

Work on new BOM configurations within our Epicor ERP system

Communicate product configurator rules to computer services as guided by product and sales teams.

Conduct BOM audits to ensure inventory accuracy and correct use of parts in production.

Perform special cost analyses and prepare materials usage reports.

Analyze usage discrepancies as it relates to BOM accuracy, ensuring each tier of the BOM matches the appropriate routing and timing of materials in production.

Understand the cost impact of changing BOMs and parts as well as the impact on production use, inventory values, variances, and Cost of Goods Sold

Engage with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams to resolve BOM issues.

Provide additional support and conduct special projects as determined by the Materials & Supply Chain Manager

Liaison between materials and engineering departments

Understanding of supply chain management in manufacturing

Understanding of the boat manufacturing process

Software skills: Epicor, Microsoft Office Suite
