Robert Half is working with a global organization is in search of a dedicated and qualified Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will directly report to the Head of Global Accounting and collaborate with international subsidiaries’ accounting managers.
This role involves managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) at the corporate level.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise AP and AR processes for the parent entity
• Manage AR and AP staff efficiently
• Assist with special projects and crucial capital expenditure initiatives
• Support procurement system implementation
• Prepare requisite fixed asset schedules and journal entries including acquisitions, depreciation, etc.
• Create regional and corporate financial reporting packages for the executive board of directors, investors, key customers and the global management team
• Ensure compliance with global accounting guidelines and the understanding of local requirements that could potentially affect the parent entity's profitability
• Support the financial audits at the headquarter and subsidiary levels
• Assist with forthcoming accounting system transformations
• Support the company’s external audit endeavors
• Flexible to assist the Head of Global Accounting with all duties necessary to maintain financially successful projects and programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA is preferred
• 4+ years of work experience in AP & AR setting
• 2+ experience in a corporate accounting team
• High level of diligence and focus on details
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel knowledge is essential). Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint is an added advantage.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous work experience in a multicultural, international setting; fluency in French and/or Spanish and /or Portuguese
