As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Construction to join our team and lead our construction operations to new heights.

Job Description

The Senior Vice President of Construction will:

  1.  Leadership and Strategic Planning: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the construction team, setting clear objectives and goals
  2.  Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout
  3.  Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  4.  Quality and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities comply with quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  5.  Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor construction staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Vice President of Construction will have the following:

 •  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
 •  Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
 •  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
 •  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
 •  In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations.
 •  Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
 •  Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
