Act as a liaison among customers, vendors, and clients
• Ability to replace, repair and install gas main and services, steel and plastic
• Ability to disconnect and reconnect customers fuel lines and equipment
• Assist Foreman and Superintendent with scheduling installations of services
• Capabilities to confirm and verify crews and vendors have all required permits, Utility tickets, third-party locator tickets, etc.
• Locate utility lines, adjust regulators
• The pressure of mains and services, along with pressure test
• Shovel, rake, transfer, grade materials such as dirt and stone
• Drive, mark, remove or replace plans
• Measure and mark grades using rulers, levels, strings, or lasers
• Secure devices using straps, ropes, or chains
• Operate tampers, rollers, or other compaction devices
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Communication skills, ability to comprehend instruction
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs
• Qualified to use calibration of all equipment needed to perform necessary work in and around gaseous environment (e.g., GMI, calibrated test gauges)
• Able to pass the respirator fit test if working in an environment where required
• Able to pass all required local utilities OQ's, certifications
• Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of eight hours per day.
