Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to execute day:to:day project activity for New Product Development through conducting experiments and gathering, analyzing, and interpreting scientific data. Progress, goals and milestones will be communicated through verbal or written reports and presentations internally and to customers.

Job Responsibilities

Senior Scientist Position Expectations:

 •  Execute day:to:day research project tasks and act as internal resource for technical information pertaining sinter products of Alpha
 •  Work with Global R and D team to build collaborative partnerships with potential clients to develop current and future products and service value in silver sinter product line of MacdermidAlpha
 •  Work closely with Project managers and Marketing team in the development of new sinter products and technology.

Research and Development:

 •  Conduct work in formulating new sinter pastes and sinter related products; analyze data toward project direction goals and milestones; write technical reports and create presentations
 •  Design, supervise, and interpret quality control techniques and protocols of formulated sinter pastes and sinter related products
 •  Work with a team to conduct analysis related to the applications of the new products

Requirements and Qualifications

To successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job, the incumbent of this position must possess a PhD in chemistry or related discipline; have two:three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Consideration may be given to those with a Masters degree and presently a PhD candidate with applicable work history.

 •  Knowledge of organic chemistry and materials, research literature, and related processes
 •  Strong track record of demonstrating team leadership and communication skills
 •  Strong ownership and organizational skills
 •  Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with individuals of all levels.
 •  Proven technical skills as a professional in the field of Material Chemistry or related fields, including proven record of product development, technical leadership, and collaboration working with a team of professionals.
 •  Strong knowledge of software's like MS Office
 •  Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
 •  Ability to work in a high paced and multi:talk environment.
 •  H
