Virtus Healthcare Staffing Seeks Cath Lab RN for Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ID!
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a regional medical center in Lewiston, ID to find a qualified and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated RN to join a dynamic team providing critical care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
Bonus Opportunity! Qualifying candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $20,000!
Responsibilities:
Assist cardiologists and other physicians during a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, including TCAR, AAA repair, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, right and left heart caths, STEMI interventions, and stroke interventions.
Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to cath lab patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, operate specialized equipment, and document patient care throughout the procedure.
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the proper functioning of all necessary equipment.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on best practices in cath lab nursing.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho.
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably ICU or ER.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization lab (Cath Lab).
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Superior communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Shift Differentials:
Evening Shift (3 pm – 11:30 pm): 8% pay increase (based on the majority of hours worked)
Night Shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am): 11% pay increase (based on the majority of hours worked)
No Weekend Differential
