We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, technically strong commercialization specialist to work with Precision Combustion’s technical and business development teams to support market entry of new energy and environmental technologies.

Precision Combustion, Inc (PCI) (E. 1986) is a privately held small business located in North Haven, CT. We are a technology company with a mission to create, develop, and manufacture sustainable solutions for the energy and environmental sectors.
Our focus is on identifying and developing innovations and transitioning them to fielded solutions.
Roles and responsibilities
Work with the technical and business development teams to support market entry of new technologies in government and commercial sectors. This includes developing, understanding, and tracking company and customer technology roadmaps, building relationship/networking, and conducting comprehensive market analyses.
The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of the physical and chemical sciences and be comfortable collaborating across functional teams to understand and advance new opportunities. Good communication skills (presentation, report writing) and networking skills are required.
Requirements
• BS engineering/science is required: minor in marketing/business or an MBA is a plus.
• Comprehension of technology maturation and commercialization/market transition process (preferably for energy markets in military, aerospace, or transportation).
• Business development experience preferably with a track record in energy, power generation, environmental, chemicals processing, automotive, and/or aerospace fields.
• Technology transition experience in an industrial or university setting.
• Strong communication, presentation, writing, and networking skills.
• Business plan and commercialization strategy preparation experience.
