ITE Management, a leading investment manager and private equity firm specializing in the acquisition of transportation equipment and asset operating platforms in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the IT team in New York.
Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $9bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in NYC, Chicago and St.
Louis.

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft and expertise in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with M365, Intune, Entra ID, and administration of Microsoft Security Groups, SharePoint, and Teams.

This role requires a professional skilled in Information Technology systems, cloud infrastructure, across Microsoft 365 and Azure. The Senior Systems Engineer will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems, ensuring robust security measures, and facilitating efficient system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 Suite, ensuring effective utilization of its capabilities
 •  Configure and manage Intune for comprehensive MDM / MAM
 •  Oversee IAM protocols to guarantee secure and streamlined system access
 •  Administer Conditional Access Policies / DLP within the Microsoft environment to safeguard sensitive data
 •  Manage Microsoft Groups, SharePoint, and Teams to enhance organizational collaboration
 •  Support, enhance and scale our cloud infrastructure (Azure / M365)
 •  Assist with management of security systems including SIEM/SOC, MDR, DNS Filtering, Next Gen Firewall
 •  Undertake R&D projects related to Azure AI; assist in the creation of tools to enhance operational efficiency
 •  Contribute to the integration and efficient operation of various IT systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs
 •  Support the IT Support Tech, with escalated cases and occasional coverage (vacation, sick days, and at peak overflow etc.)
 •  Assist Chicago Branch Office with Onsite Support
 •  Assist the NY Team in managing the branch office LAN equipment

The role involves being part of a small dynamic IT team in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the IT Support Tech, who manages the help desk.

Occasional after-hours support may be necessary for system upgrades and issue resolution. Hands-on support of physical infrastructure will be required. Occasional travel to NYC required.

Requirements
 •  Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
 •  Preferred Certifications: AZ104, MD102, CCNA, or equivalent certifications demonstrating proficiency in relevant technologies.
 •  At least 3 years of experience in project-based systems engineering, with a solid background in IT infrastructure management
 •  Experience with M365 - Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams administration
 •  Skilled in integrating and optimizing IT systems and infrastructure.
 •  Familiarity with business systems integration such as REST API, Power Apps, Azure OpenAI Studio is a plus.
