Payroll Manager Job Description Position Title: Payroll Manager

Position Overview: The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation to all employees. Leveraging ADP as the primary payroll software, the Payroll Manager ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and maintains up-to-date knowledge of payroll best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Payroll Administration-Manage the complete payroll process using ADP software.-Ensure timely and accurate payment to all staff members, whether salaried, hourly, temporary, or contract-based.-Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.

-Compliance and Reporting-Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll processing.-Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to payroll, including year-end reporting.-Manage and reconcile all payroll-related general ledger accounts.

-Software Management-Optimize the use of ADP software and keep abreast of updates and new features.-Train other staff members on the ADP system as necessary.-Collaborate with IT and ADP support to troubleshoot any software issues./
-Tax Management-Ensure accurate and timely filing of all payroll-related tax forms.-Handle queries related to payroll taxes, deductions, and employee compensation.
-Team Collaboration-Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure coordination on benefits, deductions, and other payroll factors.-Address payroll-related queries from employees and provide relevant solutions.
-Continuous Improvement-Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in payroll management.-Recommend and implement improvements to payroll processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.-Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role.-Proficiency in ADP payroll software.-Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll.-Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
