Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Pool Receptionist is to assist all guests to the pool complex. Assist with all customer needs; answer multi-line phone calls, respond to guest requests. To protect the glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex.
Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 •  Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
 •  Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department.
 •  Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff.
 •  Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff
 •  Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs.
 •  Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary
 •  Ensure that the Receptionist area is clean and looks neat for all incoming guests.
 •  Treats customers with courtesy and respect always.
 •  Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.).
 •  Ensures all guests follow pool rules (i.e., diving board safety, running, horseplay, etc.).
 •  Perform job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 •  High School Diploma or equivalent
 •  Minimum of six (6) month experience in a similar role

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 •  Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
 •  Previous experience working varied shifts.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 •  Valid CPR/ AED Certification
 •  Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 •  Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
 •  Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
 •  Knowledgeable of Pool amenities and cabanas.
 •  Remains appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guideline’s appearance code.
 •  Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
 •  Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
 •  Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
 •  Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility.
 •  Highly motivated and energetic personality.
