COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season.
Primarily M-F, flexible hours, with a weekend rotation in the event they can t get all their hours during the week (won t happen often).
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population, from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication and swallowing.
Experience Requirements:
2 years pediatric hospital or outpatient experience (school experience will not be considered).
Education Requirements:
Master s Degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university
Certification/License/Registry Requirements:
AZ Department of Health Services license prior to start date.
AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start date.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to start date.
