Responsibilities:

We are seeking a mission-focused Network Administrator Level 2 to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Washington, D.C.!

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:

 •  Provide customer desktop support when required (e.g., hardware failures).
 •  Provide incident management alongside problem management for analysis of incidents that indicate a larger problem.
 •  Use information provided by Tier 1 and log additional information as needed.
 •  Use administrative access to network components to research errors, incidents, problems
 •  Provide incident analysis and identification of potential problems.
 •  Resolve service requests.
 •  Escalate service requests to Tier 3, if necessary.
 •  Route service requests to the appropriate organization required for incident resolution.
 •  Enter solutions into the solutions database.
 •  May manage projects / processes.
 •  Coach and reviews the work of more junior professionals.
 •  Influence others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures.
 •  Some positions may require shift work.

Qualifications:

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies:

 •  Years of experience with one of the following:
 •  High School/GED plus seven (7) years of relevant experience
 •  Associate degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience
 •  Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience
 •  Master's degree plus one (1) year of relevant experience
 •  DOD 8140 certification(s): IAT II, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Security Clearance Level:

 •  Current CI Poly

Shift Schedule:

 •  Sun-Wed 1400-0000
 •  Full-time on-site
