Tax Manager - Public
Robert Half is looking for a Tax Manager to join our client! This Tax Manager will possess expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements, along with proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology. This the role for an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Your responsibilities
• Prepare and examine complex income tax returns
• Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments
• Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Help review all financial statements for quality control
• Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
• Put together and analyze tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
• Aid in in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
• Review and distribute W-2s and 1099s
• Aid in the compliance of financial and tax reporting policies and procedures - 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
• 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting
• CPA preferred
