Business Development Manager

Overview:

Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager (Seattle / Portland) responsible for named accounts within a specific geographic area. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is located in Seattle or Portland. The BDM will manage and sell into an established book of business as well as develop new business and accounts in a defined geographical area.
In this role you will sell the full breadth of Element services within your accounts in order to meet assigned budgets.

Salary: $80K-$100K + Sales Comp

Responsibilities:

 •  Establish and Proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts
 •  Drive Profitable Sales Expansion with a focus on acquiring new and re-engaging with dormant accounts, while growing existing clients
 •  Gather and Analyze market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends to determine customer needs
 •  Represent company at industry association meetings to promote company with services offered
 •  Prepare reports and presentations showing sales volume by sector, region, location, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
 •  Actively utilize CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are removed, new information is added, and accurate call/visit logs are entered

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need :

 •  5 years of technical experience with Sales responsibilities
 •  Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Dynamics AX and CRM, Word, Excel)
 •  Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
 •  Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditions
 •  Ability to travel up to 50% of the time; some overnight travel may be required
