Job Title: Cannabis Prepper / Packager
Location: Lake Orion, MI

Shift:

 •  1st shift (Monday Friday 6a-2p)
 •  2nd shift (Monday Friday 2p-10p)
 •  2nd shift (Monday Friday 11p-6a)
 •  Production needs determine if Saturdays would be needed

Pay:

 •  1st shift: $16.00/hr
 •  2nd shift: $17.00/hr
 •  3rd shift: $18.00/hr
 •  Raises based on attendance, performance, and attitude.

Job Summary: The opportunity to work for a growing cannabis Manufacturing facility positioned to become a globally recognized brand in the industry. We are responsible for processing and distributing cannabis in the form of pre-rolls, vapes, blunts, etc.
As a cannabis prepper / packager, you will be responsible for working in a team setting to produce consistent, high-quality product for dispensaries.

Daily Duties/Job Description:

 •  Weigh each product using a digital scale to ensure all items are consistent in weight, size, composure, etc.
 •  Monitor acceptable quality limits (AQL) set by the company's Quality Department and to enforce prompt and necessary corrective actions.
 •  Work in a team setting on the assembly line in teams of 5-15 people, while completing all individually assigned tasks.
 •  Use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus on small objects.
 •  Assist coworkers, supervisors, and other departments and perform all other requested warehouse tasks.
 •  Add the correct labels, stickers, and tags to appropriate boxes and marketing materials using attention to detail.
 •  Use basic computer proficiency and competence in Microsoft Word and Excel when needed.
 •  Follow OSHA, federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and standards.
 •  Maintain a positive working environment while hitting all production goals.
 •  Use good hand-eye coordination to prepare all products without damage.
 •  Prep and package all cannabis products to customers requirements.
 •  Pack pre-rolls/blunts/joints with care and consistency.
 •  Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
 •  Perform necessary quality checks.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

 •  Must submit to background check
 •  PER STATE LAW, you must be at least 21 years old
 •  Previous experience in Cannabis or Botanical processing environment not required
 •  Attention to detail, good people skills, ability to multitask.
 •  Wear all required PPE and practice safe work practices.
 •  Possess a willingness to learn new skills and strong desire for longevity.
 •  Ability to kneel, bend, twist, and sit or stand for 8 hours per day, 5-6 days/week
 •  Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
 •  Flexibility - this role will be ever-changing as we expand and develop our team
 •  Comfortable with monotonous working assignments and willing to cross-training in different departments.
 •  1-3 years of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.
 •  Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up atmosphere environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
 •  Must have good Math knowledge, including the use of decimal conversions (metric knowledge is highly desired).
