What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience):
5 plus years of SAP experience with a minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations, including experience with HANA S4.for a discrete manufacturing company
Extensive knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and WM, including configuration, integration, and customization capabilities.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and processes, with a track record of designing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, propose innovative solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
Qualified candidates must have experience implementing SAP HANA S4 in discrete manufacturing company
SAP certification in relevant demand to supply modules is a plus.
What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position):
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand demand planning, manufacturing management, inventory management, and order fulfillment process requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations on configuring SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM) to support business needs. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where standard SAP functionalities may require enhancements.
Provide expert guidance on SAP finance module functionality, data structures, and integration points with other SAP modules.
Responsibilities:
Utilize SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) to enhance supply chain management (SCM) processes and balance supply and demand across the global supply chain.
Implement integrated, best-in-class functionality for demand and supply, including Forecasting, production planning, global available-to-promise (ATP), and supply network efficiency maximization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive demand forecasting toolsets, highly configurable planning books, and collaborative demand planning processes.
Integrate purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation functions within SAP APO's supply network planning (SNP) module to optimize product flow and consider constraints and penalties.
Utilize advanced safety stock planning algorithms within SAP APO's production planning and detailed scheduling (PP/DS) module to support multi-level production planning and capable-to-promise (CTP) functionality.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP APO with other SAP applications/components to facilitate global availability checks, rules-based ATP, and product allocation strategies.
Provide expertise in demand forecasting methodologies and leverage predictive analytics to anticipate customer needs, preferences, and purchasing intent.
Collaborate with demand forecasting professionals to enhance supply chain competitiveness and streamline processes through the integration of modern supply chain technologies.
