My client is a full service general contractor, headquartered in the Greater St. Louis area. They focus on both ground-up and renovation projects with a value of $15M to $55M. Their projects are predominantly within the wood-frame construction sector.

Job Description
 •  Meet with clients regularly from initial bid stage all the way through completion.
 •  Join meetings and provide project updates based on the scopes you're overseeing.
 •  Keep organized and up to date on the project.
 •  Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site.
 •  Collaborate with teams to ensure project delivery is smooth and seamless.
 •  Work with the field crew to assess necessary scheduling, material, and budgetary updates.
 •  Collect and assist with reviewing change orders.
 •  Communicate and collaborate w/ clients.
 •  Travel to job sites as necessary.

The Successful Applicant

To secure this position, you will be a driven and motivated construction professional with previous experience working on commercial, retail or multifamily projects. Experience in ground up or interiors is flexible.
 •  1+ years of experience working in commercial construction
 •  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
 •  Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
 •  Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
 •  Assist the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs
 •  Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
 •  Assist with pre-construction tasks, including estimating and quantification
 •  Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists
 •  Proficient in Procore or Bluebeam
 •  Strong verbal and written communication skills
 •  Desire to grow portfolio
