Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Analyze, design, standardize, implement, and maintain server and storage systems to support business operations.
• Manage and monitor virtual environments, including host systems, server VMs, and virtual desktops, ensuring proactive maintenance and upgrades.
• Administer and monitor collaboration environments, including email and Unified Communication systems.
• Maintain data storage systems, ensuring proper allocations in production and development environments.
• Configure, test, and monitor all servers, both physical and virtual, to identify and resolve anomalies.
• Manage and monitor global network infrastructure and VPN services.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented servers and systems.
• Support Windows and Linux systems, business applications, voice and data communication systems.
• Enforce software compliance and ensure adherence to security protocols.
• Supervise IT Systems engineering staff, overseeing problem resolution activities and hardware configuration.
• Maintain physical computer operating buildings, including data centers and server rooms.
• Provide support for VoIP and video conferencing services.
• Collaborate with the Information Security Team to enhance the security of corporate network and systems.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications for partnership with key vendors.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and solution presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in administering production and development server systems with a focus on high availability.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and related management tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, and Windows Server systems.
• Knowledge of Storage Area Network design, installation, and management.
• Familiarity with Azure AD, Exchange online/Office 365, and SharePoint.
• Strong scripting skills in Visual Basic, PowerShell, PowerCLI, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Understanding of TCP/IP-based services, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
• Minimum 8 years of server & system administration experience.
• 8+ years of system virtualization administration experience.
• 8+ years of technical management experience.
• VMware certification (VCP) required; Microsoft certification (MCSE) strongly preferred.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry strongly preferred.
