Your daily routine can include:

Facilitating meaningful community connections

Exploring and participating in a variety of recreational and educational activities with your client

Teaching independent life skills

Increasing helpful, adaptive behaviors

Driving clients in your personal vehicle and/or taking public transportation

What is Supported Living?

Supported Living Services allow individuals with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes in the community, while developing independent living skills, creating meaningful relationships, and participating as active members in their families and communities.

We serve the greater Los Angeles county area in cities such as: Brentwood, Belair, Koreatown, West LA, Culver City, Bel Air, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and Palos Verdes).

Responsibilities

Able to support clients in their daily routines; including, but not limited to, nutrition, self-care, social, recreational, personal relationships, money management, etc.

Provide emotional support

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Important Details

Part-Time/Full-Time

Overnight- pay varies based on the type of shift (sleep or awake)

Must have own reliable vehicle to transport clients

Must be willing to take public transportation

Ideal Candidates:

Individuals who love working with adults, elderly, and helping individuals

Students studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Human Development, or related fields

Caregivers

LNA/CNA

Nursing home facilitators, Program administrators

Requirements: This is an entry-level position.

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. or physically assist individual

(Willing to be) CPR/First-Aid certified

High school diploma or equivalent

Someone with intensive behavioral experience, or who trained in behavior management and/or ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
