Pre-Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of the legal process surrounding personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pre-litigation process of personal injury cases for the first 30-60 days after intake. Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Entering data from medical records, court documents, and other sources into our database;
Working with clients to gather all necessary documents and information for their case;
Gathering initial medical bills and records;
Obtaining police reports, 911 tapes, body cam footage, etc.;
Assisting clients with property damage claims (i.e. total loss, repairs, diminished value, loss of use, etc.);
Assisting clients with coordinating medical treatment;
Assessing viability of client claims after 30-60 days;
Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work; and

Communicating effectively with other team members.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal;
Knowledge of relevant legal procedures and best practices;
Hard-working, problem solver, and independent;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Proficiency in data entry;
Ability to type quickly and accurately;
Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail;
Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy;
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, G-Suite, and case management software;
Proficient in using technology.
