Mechanical (MEP) Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Job Summary: Huitt-Zollars, Inc has full-time opportunity for a Mechanical (MEP) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for our Fort Worth office. The successful candidate will have an educational background primarily in Mechanical HVAC, Plumbing Systems or Architectural engineering.
Candidates that desire to work in the field of Engineering related to Mechanical Building Systems and Infrastructure will be considered.

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Reports to: Plumbing Engineering Manager
Employment Type: 40 FT Hours
Compensation Type: Salary
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).

Duties/Responsibilities:

 •  Perform all mechanical building systems and infrastructure engineering duties as directed by the Project Manager

Qualifications:

 •  Bachelor’ s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
 •  EIT a plus, but not mandatory
 •  Minimum 0-4 years Experience
 •  Passed the fundamental of Engineering Exam
 •  Works well independently and within a team
 •  Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit BIM computer aided design programs
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook

 •  Acquires, understands, and applies technical and professional knowledge and skills to perform job effectively, efficiently, and safely. Understands and adheres to Huitt-Zollars policies and procedures. Stays abreast of trends and pending changes within assigned area of responsibility.
