Essential Functions:-
Financial Analysis and Modeling: Prepare and maintain complex financial models, including cash flow projections, investment valuations, and performance analysis for diverse real estate projects and funds.-Investment Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence on potential real estate investment opportunities, including reviewing financial statements, market research, and risk assessments, to support investment decisions.-Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with the CFO to develop annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and strategic plans for real estate investment projects and funds.
Provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and support growth objectives.-Private Equity Experience: Leverage experience within a team office environment, focusing on private equity, to contribute to deal structuring efforts, review transaction documents, analyze deal terms, and identify potential risks and opportunities unique to the private equity real estate sector.-Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.-Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the CFO in the budgeting process and regularly update financial forecasts.
Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.-Investor Relations: Support in managing relationships with investors, address inquiries, and provide transparent and timely financial information.-Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the financial performance of existing real estate assets and funds, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.-Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate market and private equity sector.
Provide insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.-Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies, supporting financial audits and reviews as necessary.-Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and optimize operational efficiency within the finance department
