Job Title: HR Director
Location: Onsite - San Diego Office
Salary Range: $130,000 - $210,000

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to join our team in the healthcare industry. The HR Director will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
This position will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on all HR-related matters.

Oversee the recruitment and hiring process to attract top talent. Develop and implement effective strategies for talent retention, succession planning, and workforce development.

Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution processes.

Implement performance management processes and tools to assess and improve employee performance. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and development planning.

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs and coordinate resources to address them effectively.

Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Manage HR systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.

Develop and oversee employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, morale, and well-being. Monitor employee engagement metrics and implement interventions as needed to improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.

Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation in HR practices.

Lead change management initiatives to support organizational change and transformation efforts. Partner with senior leadership to communicate changes effectively, mitigate resistance, and foster a culture of agility and adaptability.

Identify HR-related risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's reputation and resources.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) highly desirable.

Minimum of 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 15 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
