Join our team as the Cash Applications Lead, reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager. This role presents an exciting opportunity to spearhead the enhancement of cash management processes, ensuring optimal cash flow alignment with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual benchmarks.
You'll play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative work environment, prioritizing tasks within the functional mailbox system, and boosting employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
 •  Conduct audits on cash application procedures to ensure adherence to company policies.
 •  Mentor and guide entry level team members to meet and surpass daily targets.
 •  Assist in devising efficient cash application protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
 •  Investigate and resolve issues concerning cash payment applications and unapplied funds.
 •  Address escalations from the AR mailbox promptly.
 •  Maintain accurate accounting records in line with GAAP and company policies.
 •  Drive continuous improvement initiatives across AR functions, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
 •  Provide support and guidance to the AR team as required.
 •  Act as a backup for the Accounts Receivable Manager and contribute to month-end closing activities.
 •  Undertake special projects and offer backup assistance to the finance/accounting team.
 •  Background in construction industry.
 •  AR/Cash Applications experience
 •  People management experience
 •  Proficiency in High Radius and GP systems.
 •  Advanced Excel skills.
 •  Experience in process improvement initiatives.
