Title: Production Facilitator
Location: EL PASO TX 79912
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 40hrs per week; 1st shift
Main responsibilities:
Manages all communications with project managers and field offices for customer orders including the escalations.
Executes overall activities such as production scheduling (short term plan), database management, manufacturing capacity and material flow.
Maintains methods and practices to ensure the most effective communication between Scheduling and Production teams.
May include creation of new policies/work procedures.
Ensures resources are best utilized to achieve both short- and long-term goals and manages the priorities.
Provides periodic reports to management.
Track late delivery to internal customers and backlog activity.
The individual may be required to participate in daily operations meetings with various other functions of the manufacturing team.
The individual will work with Engineering and Manufacturing to provide value added lean solutions for material flow.
Qualifications & Skills required:
Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
3. 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing setting
Proficient with using computers and advanced knowledge with applications (access, excel).
Effective communication, facilitation, and strong negotiation skills.
Problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills.
Experience with conflict management and resolution.
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
