About Our Client
An IPP with 2GW of solar and BESS projects across the US. This role will focus on acquiring land for utility scale projects within ERCOT and MISO.
Job Description
The Land Acquisition Specialist - Renewable Energy will be responsible for:
• Collaborate with the GIS Manager and real estate brokers to identify, select, and analyze potential sites.
• Facilitate landowner outreach and negotiate contracts leading to executed lease or purchase option agreements.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess site suitability and negotiate contracts, involving travel as necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with landowners and local communities through regular project updates.
• Maintain detailed project update records to inform management about the progress of contract negotiations.

The Successful Applicant
The Land Acquisition Specialist - Renewable Energy will have
• Proficiency in effectively engaging with individuals both in-person and over the phone.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Self-motivated with adept creative problem-solving skills and a positive outlook.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptionally organized, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of energy, able to thrive under pressure, and adept at meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in contract negotiations and successful contract management

$70,000 - $90,000 base salary
