Job Summary:

This position will support the commercial team with accurate information on; forecasting, BOM formula calculations, bid costing, account P&L’s, price increase implementation, freight analysis, item optimization and reporting.

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL, U.S. or Mississauga (Port Credit), ON, CAN.
Salary: $100k-$110 base with 10% IC

Responsibilities:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
 •  Manage price analysis, evaluate gross margins by customer and product including monitoring cost increases, identify opportunities to enhance profitability, recommend customer price increase and cost savings as necessary.
 •  Lead and manage price increase execution and maintenance.
 •  Provide calculations for clay, filler, and additives based on prescribed item BOM formulations.
 •  Manage and support monthly forecast updates process with the sales team's inputs and market insights to provide to the finance and operation teams.
 •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop growth strategies.
 •  Provide freight cost vs freight revenue generation analysis to optimize freight pick up or delivery options
 •  Build reports/dashboards for the commercial team, emphasizing an easy view of business performance KPIs.
 •  Support the marketing manager in analyzing new item costs for innovation or cost savings projects.
 •  Support the HPP Planning.
 •  Support and conduct ad-hoc analyses using internal & external data sources for business-specific issues supporting commercial team, including but not limited to VOC metrics, NPPD reports, etc.
 •  Support the new product development initiatives across all product categories.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

 •  Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, accounting or a related field.
 •  Three (3) years in business analysis or product marketing roles.
 •  Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
 •  Advanced in Excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools
 •  Ability to learn and develop quickly through personal initiative.
 •  Organized, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
 •  Ability to speak and read English.

Technical Requirements:

 •  Is required to have a complete understanding of MS Office and meet the technical requirements of their respective department.
