Bookkeeper
We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. This long-term contract / contract Bookkeeper role will be located in the Albany, New York area. How you will make an impact
• Enter all invoices into financial database, create all vendor checks.& maintain system for invoices to be paid and paid invoices.
• Create daily bank deposit, enter deposit detail into financial database & maintain system for deposit records.
-Process payroll bi-weekly, prepare schedule of payrolls for payroll servicer & maintain files of payroll-related documents.
• Enter all new employees into database & update current employees’ changes as required.
• Prepare and enter all journal entries for each payroll run.
• Reconcile and create journal entries as needed each month for: prepaid expenses, depreciation, pledge receivables, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic Bookkeeping experience
• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Prior experience using accounting software
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
