You will work with all levels of expertise from junior-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job tasks. The duties of the position include:
Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
Conducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersion
Performing statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
Analyzing pollution control measures
Conducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysis
Preparing air quality permit applications and environmental impact reports
Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.
Serving as the technical lead overseeing Consultant-level staff on complex projects
Provide mentoring to junior staff

Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills;
Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports;
Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
Programming, database and GIS skills are preferred but not required
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
EIT or P.E. certifications a plus
Can work independently as well as in a team setting
Desire to learn and grow in the environmental consulting field
Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state.
