Job Description
is hiring for a Maintenance Technician I to contribute to our Manufacturing team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. Under limited supervision, this person will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment.
The Technician will ensure that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This individual will partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and maintenance team.

Schedules available:
C shift is Sun-Tues 7pm-7am + every other Wednesday 7pm-7am
D shift is Thursday-Saturday 7pm-7am + every other Wednesday 7pm-7am
Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
1 year as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year for year directly related education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude.
General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
Basic understanding of PLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates equipment failures and provides basic emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
Ensures repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
Performs basic technical skills, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of /facility equipment.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Operates equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
Performs general distribution center facility maintenance including, but not limited to, monitoring and removing recyclables from the facility and furniture moves for internal office relocations.
Complies with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
