We are on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper might also be allowed to lead the clerical staff. Qualified candidates should be self-driven and organized accounting professionals capable of thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in this Bookkeeper role.
This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Houston, Texas area.

Our client located in the Spring Branch area of Houston, TX is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper must have 2+ Years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, CAM reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Statement Preparation using QuickBooks.
This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 75K plus bonus and benefits working 100% in office.

Major responsibilities
 •  Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
 •  File cash flow projections, as needed
 •  Other unique projects when they come up
 •  Clarify business license and gross receipts
 •  Register budget transfers
 •  Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
 •  Administer monthly accounting close
 •  Administrate Accounts Payable
 •  Lead Accounts Receivable
 •  Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
 •  Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
 •  Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
 •  Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
 •  Demonstrated knowledge of Cam Reconciliation
 •  Full charge bookkeeping experience desired
 •  Experience with Full Cycle Payroll
 •  Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
 •  Adeptness in Commercial Property Management
 •  QuickBooks experience
 •  General familiarity with financial statement preparation
 •  Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
 •  Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
 •  Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
 •  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
 •  Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
 •  Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
 •  2+ years of related experience- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
 •  Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
 •  BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
