Job Description: Warehouse Technician
Position Summary: Embark on an exciting Temp-to-Perm opportunity in the renewable energy sector with endless growth potential with Plug Power, a rapidly growing company specializing in the development of hydrogen fuel cell systems that replace conventional batteries in equipment and vehicles powered by electricity.
As a Warehouse Technician, you'll play a crucial role in being responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials and products within our warehouse facility. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
Unload, unpack, and inspect merchandise for damage or defects
Safely and accurately store items in designated warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse processes and procedures
Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred
Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Schedule:
Shift 1, Monday to Thursday, 4x10 schedule
Hours: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$18 + an Hour (Based on Experience, Interview, Etc.)
