We are looking for a Legal Secretary responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

Furnishing administrative or secretarial support for one to two attorneys and/or legal assistants.

Performing transcription of legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and briefs with a high rate of accuracy and speed.

Reviewing and editing prepared documents for accuracy.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, clients, courts, administrative agencies, and others.

Maintaining docket book.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

Two-Year College Degree or Equivalent Vocational Business School or Experience.

4 years of progressively responsible secretarial experience.

Thorough knowledge of correct English, grammar, spelling (including medical terminology), and punctuation.

Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices.
