AVP, Product Solutions Marketing

In this newly created position, you will develop and manage the market positioning of products and services offered within UNFCU’s Product Solutions vertical. This is a highly collaborative role liaising with product leaders, Corporate Marketing and IT to derive critical insights and translate them into product strategy.
The goal is to deliver product solutions, in alignment with UNFCU’s brand, that meet member needs and drive revenue production.

This position is expected to be hybrid.

NYC Salary Range - $154,400 - $210,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do:

 •  Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors
 •  Partner with business line managers within the Product Solutions vertical to determine product marketing strategies, which align with business plan growth objectives
 •  Develop product roadmaps to drive revenue production, along with product definition, design and development, member engagement and penetration; engage with Corporate Marketing to determine marketing plans
 •  Be a key stakeholder in campaign strategy, defining the campaign purpose and objectives with Corporate Marketing department and collaborating to agree on best execution for campaigns
 •  Partner with Finance and business line managers to evaluate the financial aspects of product solutions including marketing campaigns, budgets, investment in marketing expenses and projected ROI and profit-and-loss
 •  Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to ensure that periodic updates of the My Offers (CUNEXUS) storefront align with product strategy, and provide timely and relevant content of multiple individual-based marketing offers
 •  Work with vendors to identify data-driven product marketing innovations and periodically present those concepts to management and Corporate Marketing for consideration
 •  Conduct market research to understand competitor product positioning, features and benefits, and pricing
 •  Engage with Corporate Marketing to analyze member needs for potential new product features
 •  Participate in the creation of engaging, informative content, in collaboration with Corporate Marketing, that articulates the benefits of our products and drives lead generation
 •  Partner with business line managers in new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies, engaging with all relevant stakeholders
 •  Partner with business line managers to develop cross-sell and up-sell strategies
 •  Participate as a key stakeholder for multi-channel marketing initiatives that promote and enhance our membership’s usage and awareness of products and services
 •  Partner with Corporate Marketing to prioritize and agree on the schedule for marketing initiatives and ticket requests
 •  Assess product line performance by tracking, analyzing, and reporting results of marketing initiatives to evaluate their success. Where necessary, make and implement recommendations to improve future initiatives
 •  As needed, advise the Mortgage Originations Sales Coordinator for events and to maximize the effectiveness of the Tabrasa mortgage CRM
 •  Build and maintain knowledge of UNFCU products and services via knowledge transfer from product SMEs; facilitate enhanced collaboration and information exchange with Corporate Marketing
 •  Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

What we're seeking:

 •  Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a product marketing leadership role
 •  Strong ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing initiatives
 •  Exceptional understanding of data and translating it into clear strategic initiatives
 •  Knowledge of current and emerging marketing practices and technology
 •  Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
 •  Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as customer relationship management systems
 •  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 •  Solid analytical and research skills with experience using data and analytics to improve performance
 •  Problem-solving, decision-making and critical-thinking skills
 •  Ability to meet timelines when assigned multiple projects
