Data Analyst - Power BI
This role involves working with a variety of database systems and software, such as SQL, Power BI, DAX, Azure DevOps, PostgreSQL, Azure, UniData, and Data Factory. The position offers a contract employment opportunity and requires robust interaction with various teams including Finance to understand revenue streams, forecasting, vendor utilization, and data comprehension.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize SQL and business acumen to liaise with stakeholders, validate data, and develop Power BI dashboards
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports as per business requirements
• Handle database work, including table joins and data cleaning
• Extract data from multiple ERP systems for analysis and report generation
• Collaborate with existing Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Architects in the team
• Assist the Finance team in deciphering revenue streams, forecasting, understanding spend, and vendor utilization
• Leverage skills in Database, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Data Warehousing, Design, and Documentation to perform tasks effectively
• Ensure understanding and proper utilization of data to drive business decisions.
• Proficiency in Database Management and Analysis
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with MySQL databases
• Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies
• Understanding of Backup Technologies
• Experience in Data Warehousing
• Ability to Design and Implement Database Systems
• Excellent Documentation skills for maintaining records and creating reports.
