Boutique downtown litigation law firm is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to our attorneys in handling a variety of legal matters within the financial services, commercial collections, and HOA law sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence related to financial services litigation, mortgage and lien enforcement, foreclosure actions, contract disputes, regulatory defense litigation, and HOA law matters.
 •  Conduct legal research and compile relevant case law, statutes, and regulations to support ongoing cases and transactional matters in the financial services, commercial collections, and HOA law areas.
 •  Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible for attorneys across all practice areas.
 •  Assist with discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas in cases related to financial services, commercial collections, and HOA law.
 •  Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings in matters involving financial services, commercial collections, and HOA law.
 •  Assist in preparing attorneys for trial, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and compiling trial binders for cases.
 •  Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing attorney calendars, with a focus on the diverse needs of clients in the financial services, commercial collections, and HOA law sectors.
