Overview:

AutoCareer Connect is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk for our partner's dealership in Seattle, WA. The Automotive Title Clerk plays a crucial role in the administration of vehicle title and registration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and local regulations.

This position requires a candidate with strong administrative skills, knowledge of automotive title and registration procedures, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Process vehicle titles accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state laws and dealership policies.

Coordinate with the sales and finance departments to obtain necessary documents for title and registration.

Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV.

Resolve any issues related to vehicle titles, such as liens, delays, or missing information.

Maintain detailed records of title transactions and follow up on pending titles.

Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with inquiries regarding title and registration processes.

Liaise with the DMV and other agencies as needed to keep updated on regulations and changes in procedures.

Assist in other administrative tasks and provide support to the dealership team as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar role.

Familiarity with DMV title and registration procedures and state regulations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency in using dealership management software and office tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive administration is a plus.

A valid driver's license.

Additional Information:

This full-time position is based in Seattle and may occasionally require extended working hours to meet business needs.
