UX Designer
We are offering an opportunity for a remote User Experience (UX) Designer. The role comes with a focus on developing the next generation of decision support tools for clinicians. This role will be part of a passionate and distributed team working on innovative projects in the Oncology space.
This role provides a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Build a deep understanding of customer needs and use cases, with a focus on aligning treatment recommendations with clinical best practices and standards of care.
• Define and deliver UX work in collaboration with Product and Technology partners, ensuring that the design strategy complements the overall objectives of the project.
• Foster collaboration, transparency, and alignment among cross-functional partners, working towards measurable outcomes.
• Lead or support research activities such as interviews and usability testing, synthesizing and summarizing findings to inform UX deliverables.
• Develop design strategies for solutions alongside product managers and commercial leads, leveraging strong visual and interaction design skills.
• Work with established design systems and propose new patterns and components when necessary, ensuring the right fidelity for each artifact or deliverable.
• Involve customers and subject-matter experts in product innovation, leading workshops and discussions to engage partners and create clarity out of complexity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as Product Design, User Research, and Creative Problem-Solving.
• Proficiency in User Experience (UX) design methodologies and practices.
• Proven experience in customer service and workstation support.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct and apply research to design projects.
• Skilled in creating quality design deliverables.
• Ability to review and improve design concepts.
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of web app design and framework.
• Ability to travel as needed for projects or collaborations.
• Experience in collaborating with partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Proven track record of selling design concepts and ideas.
• Ability to adhere to best practices in UX design.
• Experience in sourcing and selecting components for design projects.
• Proficiency in producing summary reports and KPI reporting.
• Experience in clinical trial operations is a plus.
• Proficiency in using design tools and software.
• Proven ability to work in a team and foster collaboration.
• Experience in managing design projects from concept to go-live.
