Responsibilities for a Commercial Construction Project Executive San Jose
Project Planning and Initiation:
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and risk assessments.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Project Execution and Management: Oversee all phases of the construction project, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and manage changes in scope or schedule.
Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment requests.
Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering initiatives.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and providing project updates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring effective resource utilization.
